We are involved in a variety of local and global outreach programs, from feeding the hungry to supporting missionaries around the world.

Pastor Matthew Brode

September 28th, 2025 The Home Missionary Church Voted Pastor Matt as the New Lead Pastor.  October 26th The torch was passed as Pastor Keith Emoff  Retired after many years of serving this great Church. Pastor Matt and his family have a heart for the local church and outreach. He is excited for many new doors the Lord is opening in our church to grow the kingdom.

Pastor Matt was installed in the NEO CGMA Church Plant October 7th, 2023.  He served as lead Pastor for 2 years before merging The Lakemore Lighthouse Community Church  with the Home Missionary Baptist Church.

Pastor Matt  was called and preached his first sermon when  he was 14 years old. He served local churches ministering, teaching, in Bus Ministry, Video Ministry, and much more. After Marriage and the birth of their fourth child he faced a Parodical son moment of life where he felt Church hurt, Pride, Life's Hardships caused him to drift away. in 2017 He returned home to the Fathers House. 2 Chronicles 7:14. He humbled himself before God asked for forgiveness and God began to heal his land. 

In 2019 He answered the call once again into ministry Preaching the Gospel and becoming the kids Pastor at the Hill Church where he served until God brought him to the Lighthouse.

Bishop Matthew Brode also Serves as The CGMA NEO District Youth Director.
